Membership is available at any time throughout the year. The PCAV Membership year runs from 1st July to 30th June annually. PCAV offer pro-rata fees from the 1st January each year - a small discount and incentive to join halfway through the membership year!
Pony Club Association of Victoria (PCAV) requires that all members under the age of 18 have one Club Supporter (parent/guardian/carer) in attendance at all times on Rally Days. This Club Supporter is required to take out free Club Supporter Membership, which then covers them as a "volunteer" under the Club's Affiliated Insurance and also makes them eligible to vote at club General and Annual General Meetings as well as hold committee positions if they so wish. Under PCAV By-Laws, all Club Supporter Members MUST hold a current Working With Childrens Card (MUST add Melton & District Pony Club & Pony Club Association of Victoria as volunteer organisations on the card)
All new memberships and membership renewals MUST be submitted online via the MyPonyClub website or via the Pony Club Australia Mobile App.
Membership fees can be paid by cash, cheque, funds transfer or credit card (online only).
CASH & CHEQUE PAYMENTS: Made directly to the club on any club rally day once you have submitted your membership application(s) online. Cheques to be made payable to "Melton & District Pony Club Inc."
FUNDS TRANSFER PAYMENTS: A copy of the funds transfer receipt MUST be forwarded to the club (either in person or via email) once you have submitted your membership application(s) online. Please remember to include the MEMBER/RIDER NAME as reference on your payment.
CREDIT CARD PAYMENTS: must be made online at time of submitting your membership application(s). Credit card payments will incur a 1.5% fee + a 30c service fee (on top of your membership fees). This surcharges goes directly to PCAV (as the provider of this service) and not to our club.
